It has been a tomultuous day here in the Nation’s Capital. We’re happy that the league came out and postponed tonights’ game due to the tragedy. Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims of the shootings. That said, to continue on to not allow the terrorists to win, we record an episode!Avalanche 3 @ Sens 5Blue Jackets 2 @ Sens 3It’s hard to really complain about things on a day like this and when the team has a strong week of success. CB Inc joins in with our recaps to move things along quickly and we then poke holes into the lineup. A little talk around the league and we deal with a one week without hockey. We have also started a Facebook group at https://www.facebook.com/groups/862252843807132/ . Don’t forget to tell your friends about us, join the forums and e-mail us at podcast@senscallups.com!We are looking forward to Saturday against New Jersey so that we can bringing it loud and proud!

Season 3 Episode 1: An Inauspicious Beginning
Wednesday Oct 01, 2014
Wednesday Oct 01, 2014
It’s a miracle that we actually got the show out as today involved a broken mic, borrowed equipment from Shredder, a broken car key. That said, we’re all very excited that hockey is back! After summing up our summers, we look at what the new Sens are doing both in the rookie and training camps and take a look where some of the former players are. Looking forward to more excitement at the games, we have Dan Julien back on from the Senators to talk about the promotions and the special fan section. You can reach him on twitter at @deejayyou or at 613-296-8262. We’re looking forward to the year so make sure you join in the fun in our new forums at www.senscallups.com follow us on twitter at @senscallups and as always EEEEEMAAAIIILLL THE SHOW at podcast@senscallups.com

Once there was this girl whose favourite player was captain for many many yearsand when they had to sign himshe found that he had left for the red teamShe couldn't quite explain it, he'd always just played hereOnce there was this boy whoswore one day that he would become captain of the teamand when he finally made ithe saw some other team that was betterAnd so he asked to leave to the grass that seemed greenerBut both girl and boy were gladFor one kid had it worse than that'Cause then there was this kid whoseparents made him cheer for the Toronto Maple Leafsand when they watched their team playthey shook and cried all over their rec roomHe couldn't quite explain it, they'd always just sucked there

Season 2 Episode 26: The Summer Episode
Tuesday Jul 08, 2014
Tuesday Jul 08, 2014
It has been a long time since we have gotten together for a show, and again, year after year, we say goodbye to another potential legacy player move out of the organization. This time though, we don’t seem as upset about Spezza moving on vs. Alfredsson last year. Is it because we got something in return? Is it that the team doesn’t seem to be a contending team next season? Is it that half of the fans have always been down on Spezza? We get some familiar faces back with Michalek staying and add a bit of experience and leadership with the addition of Legwand.
We were also invited to the Sens Development camp and got exclusive access to the players, including a quick chat with Curtis Lazar and Fredrik Claesson - thanks again to Chris Moore and the Ottawa Senators for the invitation. We also look at the possibilities of goal songs for the year. A little more banter about the line up and signings around the league.
We encourage you to sign up to the new forums and participate and also don’t forget to subscribe and rate the podcast on iTunes.
Lastly, our best wishes go out to Bryan Murray and his family during this difficult time and through his treatment.
See you in September!

Season 2 Episode 25: Mailing it In with Mendes!
Thursday Apr 24, 2014
Thursday Apr 24, 2014
We've switched roles as hosts, and it's been an interesting experience. We summarize the last game of the season, the post-season press conferences of Eugene Melnyk, Bryan Murray (we didn't bother to talk about Cyril Leeder as Pan already had enough math in the show) and give our opinions about where we think the team is going, where we want it to go, and how it might turn out. Thanks to all our guests, emailers, contributors and listeners. We'll likely be back at some point during the summer (after the draft and free agent frenzy) and then in the fall.GO SENS GO!
